Link your Discord

Linking Discord lets CerebRUST reach you when you are not looking at the dashboard. That mostly means one thing: your base is about to decay and you are not in game.

  1. Sign in at app.cerebrust.xyz.
  2. Click your name in the top right to open the account menu.
  3. Choose Discord.
  4. Click Link Discord.
  5. Discord shows its standard authorisation screen. Approve it.
  6. You land back on the CerebRUST Discord page, now showing Linked and your Discord name.

That is the whole thing.

Also check that Discord itself will let the messages through: User Settings → Content & Social → Direct Messages, and make sure DMs from server members are allowed.

  • Base decay warnings — your tool cupboard is running low on upkeep.
  • Targeting alerts — a turret or SAM you are authorised on locked onto something hostile. The message names the grid it happened in and whose turret or SAM it was, so you know which base to go to — useful when you are authorised on several you did not build. Deliberately vague about the other half: it tells you something was detected, never who. You get the warning without a free intel feed on your attacker.
  • Other notifications your servers send.

Alerts are throttled. A base covered in turrets sends you one message, not fifteen.

Same page, Unlink Discord. The DMs stop immediately. You can relink whenever you like, and nothing about your CerebRUST account or history is affected either way.

Your user ID and display name. That is it — enough to know which Discord account to message.

It cannot read your messages, see your servers, post as you, or do anything on your behalf. The only direction of travel is CerebRUST → you.
